The context

The vote is only one part of the job.

A CoC vote brings together the resolutions, the participants, the voting window and the record. When those pieces live in different places, the process becomes harder to follow than it needs to be.

Before the vote

Resolutions, participant details and the voting window need to be clear before the first invitation goes out.

During the vote

Participants need a simple route in. Organisers need to know who has taken part without rebuilding the picture manually.

After the vote

The outcome needs to be readable in context, with the participation and voting-share information that sits behind it.

The workflow

A structured path from resolution to record.

The same four-step flow, shaped around the requirements of a Committee of Creditors vote.

01

Configure the matter

Set up the resolutions, voting window and the participants who should take part in the event.

02

Invite the committee

Share a clear invitation with the context each participant needs before recording a vote.

03

Record the votes

Participants review each resolution, make their choice and receive confirmation of submission.

04

Review and circulate

See participation, weighted outcomes and a structured result view for internal review and circulation.

For the organiser

See the room, even when it is remote.

The organiser’s view should answer the practical questions: who was invited, who has taken part, which resolutions are still open and what the current position looks like.

  • A single view of the voting event and its status.
  • Participant access tied to the specific matter.
  • Visibility of who has taken part and what remains open.
  • Resolution-level outcomes with voting-share context.

For the participant

Simple for the creditor. Controlled for the organiser.

A participant should not need a manual to vote. The experience should make the resolution clear, the choice straightforward and the confirmation easy to retain.

  • A clear invitation and a guided route into the event.
  • The resolution and supporting context in one place.
  • A simple choice, with confirmation after submission.
  • A record the participant can retain for internal use.

Access, timing and any vote-change rules are configured by the organiser for each matter and should be confirmed in the invitation.

The result

A result with the working shown.

The outcome should not arrive as a single number. eVoters is designed to present the resolution result alongside participation and voting-share context, so the position can be read and explained.

  • Resolution-by-resolution outcomes
  • Participation and voting-share context
  • Participant-level submission records
  • A clean view for internal review and circulation

A responsible approach

Technology supports the process. It does not replace professional judgement.

eVoters is a technology platform. We do not claim IBBI approval, certification or guaranteed statutory compliance.

Compliance depends on the process adopted by the organiser, the configuration of the voting event and the applicable regulations. Organisers should obtain their own legal and professional advice.

Our role is to make the mechanics of participation, recording and reporting clearer — so the people responsible for the decision can focus on the decision itself.

CoC questions

Practical questions, answered plainly.

For a specific matter, the right answer depends on the process, the participants and the organiser’s requirements. We are happy to talk it through.

What is CoC e-voting?

CoC e-voting is the use of an electronic platform to collect and record votes from members of a Committee of Creditors. It can make participation easier for creditors who are not in the same location and can create a more structured record of the voting process.

How does weighted voting work?

In a Committee of Creditors, a member’s vote is generally linked to its voting share rather than counted as one equal vote. eVoters is designed to support resolution-level voting and weighted outcomes, with the final rules set by the organiser for each matter.

Can creditors vote remotely?

Yes. The platform is designed so eligible participants can access a voting event remotely from a desktop, tablet or phone, subject to the access and timing rules configured by the organiser.

Can a participant change a vote?

Where the process allows it, the organiser can control whether a vote may be changed before the voting window closes. The applicable rule should be confirmed for each matter and reflected in the invitation and event settings.

What records are available after voting?

The platform is designed to present participation, resolution-level outcomes and voting activity in a structured form. The exact reports and exports available for a matter are confirmed during onboarding.

Is eVoters approved or certified by IBBI?

eVoters is a technology platform. We do not claim IBBI approval, certification or a guarantee of statutory compliance. Compliance depends on the process adopted by the organiser and the applicable regulations. Organisers should obtain their own legal and professional advice.
